CE Requirements for RIBO

Our courses are separated into Technical, Management and Personal categories as required by RIBO (the Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario). Not all of our courses are approved by RIBO, but the majority are. Please read the detailed course descriptions to determine eligibility. You can easily sign up and take courses from the comfort of your home or office chair. Since we started operations in 2004 we have not had a single issue with Ontario customers not receiving credit for CE courses taken from insurancelink.ca. Quite the contrary, we often receive emails from our customers telling us how convenient our services are, and how much they liked taking our courses for credit versus the alternative of traditional in-person seminars.

  • All other licensed individuals require 8 hours of continuing education credits every year between October 1st and September 30th in any category. There is a carryover of a maximum of 8 hours (or one term’s requirements) allowed for the next term.
  • Newly licensed individuals should understand that the continuing education program of 8 hours every year between October 1st and September 30th will begin the first October following registration. Individuals are exempted for the remainder of the licence year that they were registered.
